In this episode, I interview Kelly Patterson. Kelly is a human trafficking survivor, pastor, and author from Rapid City, South Dakota and was a child when traffickers targeted her in her South Dakota hometown. She became the victim of "a grooming process" that trapped her in a life of sexual exploitation until she was almost 22. Kelly is one of the estimated 1 percent of trafficking victims who escaped and survived. In our conversation, she shares how she became a victim, the horror of being a trafficking victim, and how by God’s grace she was able to escape from her circumstances.
